Fun "Downhill" Skiing!

Yesterday, we set of from our Teton Science School campus equipped with our skis, day packs, and our poles with and a mind set on adventure. Once we got to the TSS Kelly Campus, we hiked to our trailhead. Next, put on our skis and headed off! Then, we passed one of our groups at about noon a lot of people were thinking about lunch. Our guide said we had to keep going for a surprise. Once it reached about 1:00 pm, we got to the top of this very windy mountain. We had a delicious lunch of sandwiches and a cookie. Then it started snowing so we layered up and were attempting a downhill powder run.  Lindsey took the first run and made it down without a fall. I took off after her, and made a couple turns. I made the turn and then tried to teli ski and flipped backwards and made a medium sized crater. When I got up and back on my feet I looked back to discover that josh had crashed on the main hill and was attempting to continue. After some more gallant attempts to travel down the hill, we all made it with only a few falls.
