Snow Science, Tracking, and Thank you!

Today was another amazing day of discovery, fun, and great views!  We learned about how snow metamorphoses within the snowpack and how sub-nivean animals adapt to different snow densities.  We also were treated to another great view of the Teton Mountains.

Tonight, night hike to learn about how animals are adapted to darkness....

I have been incredibly impressed with the behavior and respect shown by all of our students.  I could not be more proud to have these fine 27 individuals represent Treasure Mountain and Park City.  They have an incredible thirst for knowledge and are constantly asking questions of the Teton Science School Instructors.  Moreover, they are helping each other as need and certainly making us all laugh a ton.  Thank you to all parents and community members who helped us get here for this amazing life experience!
